Once again, here I come😊

I was nominated again for the sunshine award and this time by the talented Saliha Waseem. Since am just coming from doing a whole elaborate post on it on my blog, i’ve decided to do a mini post on the same in honor of my second nomination by answering the questions sent my way by Saliha.

Saliha’s Questions

1. Have you ever been at that state of contentment where you are at peace regardless of the external circumstances?

Yes.

2. What is that one thing you Love the most about yourself?

My Honesty😉

3. What is happiness to you?

It is the feeling of complete peace and contentment at heart irrespective of what’s happening around you.

4. What does spirituality mean for you?

Well, that’s a hard one to explain. More of a feeling but let me try 😁 It’s our connection to the other world which is intangible and yet so real. I for one believe that all Human beings are spiritual whether they are aware of it or not. And therefore, we should stay in-sync with that which we believe in.

5. What is the one thing you would change about this world?

The Hatred that has coursed through us and is destroying us everyday.

6. Are you a morning person or a night owl 😀 ?

Night owl ofcourse!🤣

7. Describe yourself in three words?

Loving, Hardworking, Honest.

8. What was the last phrase or a line that you read and it touched your heart?

Wow… Let me go all out on this, though I heard it than read it😁 It actually happened last night. Was completing a special Filipino drama called, ‘Bridges of Love.’ Our heroine had been through a lot including putting up so much with her partner’s toxicity. So, alas after everything she faced him and told him that, she needed to leave him for a while to chase after her dreams and to also Love herself a little more. That was so courageous of her. It was just so warm hearing her come back to her senses after a very very abusive relationship with him for so long.

9. What are your views on if we are to be given the life of eternity?

Eternity would be so sweet if we are to first change our crudeness, our selfishness and cruelty. I wouldn’t want to go on and live forever in the state of the world we are in.

10. Do you believe in superstitions?

Do I…? I think not.

11. Is it easy for you to let go of hurt and forgive people?

No, it isn’t. God help me🤦🏿‍♀️ Betrayals are just so hard to walk past over. But regardless, we have to keep on moving.
